JUSSI Jaaskelainen and Ali Al-Habsi could be going head to head for the number one spot at the Reebok next season.

The revelation that Wanderers have moved to re-open contract talks with Jaaskelainen has raised hopes that the club's longest serving player could still have a future at Bolton, despite a season of speculation.

There is still a strong possibility that the 33-year-old Finland international will be on his way when his current contract expires next month, but Gary Megson has raised the mouth-watering prospect of having two top class keepers vying for the first team berth.
