WITH household bills escalating out of control, it's time to take drastic cost-cutting steps.
The pound in your pocket is worth less and less as petrol, food, gas and electricity prices have gone through the roof.
And with the cost of burials and cremations in Bolton going up by 10 per cent, we certainly can't afford to die at the moment.
Here are a few tips to survive the economic meltdown.
Firstly, shop only in major supermarkets late at night when sell-by date food is sold off for pennies.
Alternatively, cruise the aisles during the day and eat the free promotional food.
Avoid the crippling petrol prices by filling up your car with fish and chip oil from the local chippie.
Use candles for light and generate your own warmth by cuddling or spend the night in the pub to use their heating, lighting, television and toilet for the cost of a pint. See, economising can be fun.
