Historian set for Bolton talk

A RENOWNED historian is to speak to the Bolton branch of the Historical Association.
Dr Glyn Redworth will speak on “A Family at war: King Philip I of England 1554-1558” then sign copies of his latest book The She-Apostle.
The book has featured in The Times and Daily Telegraph newspapers and on BBC Radio 4’s PM show.
The event will take place at 7.30pm in the Upper Room at Bolton Parish Hall on Monday, December 1.
