Charity champ to help hospice

A CHAMPION fundraiser will be selling badges in aid of Bolton Hospice on the town hall square from today.
Wendy Close, from Astley Bridge, will be outside WH Smith every day until Sunday.
The blue and silver star-shaped badges cost £1. All money raised will go to the hospice’s Light Up A Light Appeal.
Miss Close, aged 56, previously raised thousands of pounds for the Fred Dibnah statue.
