COUNCILS must do more to stop children committing crimes and prevent teenage girls getting pregnant, the government's education inspectors said today.
Ofsted called for more help for children growing up in care and other vulnerable young people.
It highlighted the "worrying" problem of children in care not going to school and getting poor exam results when they did turn up.
